Martin Truck and Body Corporation, York, PA 2015

These photos were taken by Jeffery Hery in 2015. He states that; "The main factory building has been restored into apartments and commercial on the ground floor. The buildings are beautiful 4 story brick. It is directly across from the fairgrounds. All the main manufacturing builds are there. In the lobby they had old photos of the plant and wagons and sleighs which were originally made there."

Web master's Comment: This building became the Martin-Parry Corp.'s York, PA plant when they merged in 1919.  It is interesting to me that the City of York has chosen to use the Martin Truck and Body Corp. name rather than the Martin Carriage Works name, (the earlier company name), or the Martin-Parry Corp. name (the later company name).
